HOW MANY COLOURS AND STYLES ARE THERE IN THE COLLECTION?
We currently stock the following colours and styles:
-Blue - Patterned and Beach Sand
-White - Patterned and Beach Sand
-Charcoal- Patterned and Beach Sand
-Marine- Patterned and Beach Sand
-Pimento- Patterned only
*Mugs are also available in Banded Studio, Vertical Studio and Colour Wash styles

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PATTERNED, PLAIN WASH AND BEACH SAND?
Patterned- there are approximately 40 unique patterns which are embedded into the clay by hand and painted a solid wash colour. You can embrace the eclectic nature of WonkiWare by mixing and matching especially among multiple pieces. We are unable to supply patterns to order but every design is unique and special in its own way and what makes your Wonki Ware surprise pattern a treat to enjoy!
Plain Wash - The piece is hand painted in a solid wash colour.
Beach Sand - This is an elegant finish where the plain “Wash” has an unglazed edge.
CAN WONKI WARE BE PLACED IN THE DISHWASHER?
Yes. All Wonki Ware is dishwasher safe but please take care not to over stack and always ensure that there is sufficient room between the pieces. Some items are obviously too large to be placed into standard dishwashers, so these should be washed carefully by hand.
IS WONKI WARE SAFE TO USE IN THE MICROWAVE?
We do not recommend placing Wonki Ware in the microwave as there is a small risk of uneven heating which can cause thermal shock and result in cracks.
CAN I PLACE WONKI WARE IN THE OVEN?
Yes Wonki Ware is oven safe. However as with most stoneware clay ceramics, it does not withstand “freezer to flame” temperature changes. We therefore recommend allowing Wonki Ware to warm up gradually in the oven until full temperature is reached and allowing it to cool completely before placing it in the refrigerator.
CAN I ORDER AN ITEM IN THE PATTERN OF MY CHOICE?
There are approximately 40 unique patterns which are embedded into the clay by hand and painted a solid wash colour. We are unable to supply patterns to order but since Wonki Ware is a mix-and-match collection , different designs on multiple pieces are what makes for a beautiful Wonki Ware tablescape. When you receive and unpack your surprise pattern, please remember to share your pictures with us by following us on Instagram (Josh ADD Instaplugin here)
WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
Currently we can only offer pick-up from our studio in Katamon, Jerusalem. We will post details of shipping costs as soon as we have them
WHY ARE THE SIZES DIFFERENT FOR THE SAME PIECES?
Each piece of Wonki Ware is handcrafted, and passes through 14 sets of hands from clay to table. The slight irregularities in size, glaze and texture are indeed what makes each Wonki Ware piece authentic and unique where no two pieces are exactly alike.
WHAT IF I RECEIVE A BROKEN ITEM?
Unfortunately breakages happen. If you receive a cracked or chipped piece of Wonki Ware as a result of shipping, send us a picture of the item in the box within 2 days of receipt and we will send you a replacement piece in a closely related design as soon as possible. To report a breakage, please contact us at sales@wonkiware.co.il
